Drawing the human body necessitates a morphological approach based on a knowledge of anatomy. Beyond mastering proportions and representing the body in space, expression of the student's particular sensitivity is desired. Students learn to choose appropriate graphic techniques (pencil, ink, pastel, charcoal, gouache.) to aid them in a personal expression.
